Jeremy Robbins received his anesthesia residency training from University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. Prior to then, his interest medicine led him to work as a Clinical Research Coordinator for 1st International Research, in which he coordinated and supervised trials for vaccinations against influenza, respiratory syncytial virus, and Neisseria meningiditis, as well as treatments for asthma.
Currently, Dr. Robins works at the University of Colorado Health Memorial System, a busy level 1 trauma center, where he administers anesthesia for high-risk vascular, orthopedic, abdominal, obstetrical, and neurosurgical cases. He is a published author on the anesthetic management of pheochromcytoma and as a contributor to the textbook, Pain Management and Palliative Care: A Comprehensive Guide. In addition, he has given presentations on the anesthetic implications of hypothyroidism, valvular disorders in pregnancy, pheochromocytoma, and diverticulosis.
In his time away from work, Dr. Robbins has worked as a volunteer for a variety of humanitarian efforts, including volunteering for Camp Wapiyapi, a nonprofit organization for pediatric cancer patients and their siblings, and Adopt an Intercostal Island, a nonprofit beautification program for intercostal islands. His hobbies include hiking, running, winter sports, guitar, saxophone, and woodworking.
